Wedding receptions have been very popular at our hotel for many years. Beautiful period spaces, stylish surroundings under Rožmberk Castle, where it is possible to hold a ceremony directly on the palouka next to the hotel or at the castle, then continue with a feast in our restaurant and terrace. The surroundings of the castle and the hotel are directly offered to immortalize your unique day.

Corporate events and training
The advantage of our hotel is three separate restaurant rooms that can be used independently of each other: beer hall, restaurant and lounge, or fourth space: large terrace and adjacent meadow with grill. Most often, companies occupy the lounge for a seminar or training, including the necessary props, which then remain there for the entire duration of the stay. All other nice activities then take place in the restaurant or outdoors outside the hotel.
The capacity of the restaurant rooms is large, so there is no need to be limited by the number of beds in our hotel. The village of Rožmberk is small and cooperation with other hotels and boarding houses is good, so it is not a problem to organize an event for, for example, even 120 people.

Fly fishing on the Vltava
The Růže Hotel is located directly on the bank of the Vltava River, the weir in Rožmberk forms the border of the famous Vltava areas 27 and 28. The Růže Hotel hosted the European Fly Fishing Championship in 2011, the World Fly Fishing Championship was also held on the fishing grounds around the hotel in 2014, another Championship of Europe took place in June 2018. More than 10,000 trout were caught during the WC 2014!!! One of the richest stocks of brown trout in the Czech Republic lives in the Vltava river, which is regularly replenished with rainbows of trophy sizes, grayling and other types of fish can also be caught.
In our hotel you can go fishing directly from your hotel room. Both the upper part of the Vltava 27 area and especially the “catch and release” section, as well as the lower part of the Vltava 28 area can be covered on foot. The entire Vltava 28 area and also the jewel among trout areas in Bohemia, Vltava 29 pod Čertová, can be reached on foot in 15 minutes by car. the wall. At a similar distance in the direction of the Chapel, there is also the beautiful river Malše. The fly-fishing season starts on April 16 with the first peak in June. You can also fly-fish in the summer months, but it is necessary to get up because of the boaters, or during the day fly-fish on Čertova stěna or Malša and return to Vltava 28 after dinner for the evening collection. The second peak of the fly fishing season is September and October, but thanks to the warmer water flowing from Lipno, you can fish successfully until the end of November. Anyway, beer in our beautiful garden restaurant tastes best after a good fishing session!!!
